The Jumper Athletics Track & Field Club is focused on working with track & field athletes who just completed 6tth grade - 12th grade who focus on sprints (100-800 meters), hurdles (both 100 & 400 meters), long jump, high jump, triple jump, javelin, and/or heptathlon. Our focus is helping athletes take their performance to the next level by focusing on improved event specific technique and training. Practices: We are working through renting either North Polk H.S. or Saydel H.S. for practice. We are waiting on the contract to finalize location. Our back-up plan would be to use Nevada HS if neither works out We will start practices on June 4 - July 18, 6:30-8:30 PM Tuesdays = 6:30-7:30PM triple/long jump, 7:30-8:30 PM Sprints and hurdles Wednesdays = 6:30-7:30 PM high jump, 7:30-8:30 PM javelin Thursdays = 6:30-7:30PM triple/long jump, 7:30-8:30 PM Sprints and hurdles Options & Cost: Registration must be completed by April 22, 2024 A. Competing and need a jersey = $300 (for coaching cost, training development, track rental, and equipment) *additional individual fees will be USATF and AAU membership, and meet entry cost. Travel and lodging for meets is on your own. (USTAF & AAU membership must be completed before our club membership registration) B. Competing, no jersey (I ordered one last year) = $250 (for coaching cost, training development, track rental, and equipment) *additional individual fees will be USATF and AAU membership, and meet entry cost.
